One of the most well recognized and hence most popular dolphins, primarily owing to their prominence in marine parks, is the Bottlenose dolphin. The celebrity dolphin "Flipper" also belongs to this species. It displays variation in its body color. They measure up to 12 feet and are found primarily along the coasts off Britain.
